Countdown to the Beginning of the End of Earth?

After Y2K proved to be nothing special but another New Years Eve, skeptics have shifted directions in the last ten years. The 2012 phenomenon suggests that a range of cataclysmic events will take begin on December 21, 2012 – 10 days from today.

Why Dec 21 do you ask? It marks the end of a 5,125 year long cycle in the Mayan calendar, many feel that the ‘beginning of the end’ will begin on the 21^st and by the 23^rd of December, 2012, the world will no longer be. So there is much speculation on how the world will end, read and choose for yourself.

December 21, 2012 - Armageddon Possibilities?

Natural Disasters – Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis, volcanoes, and ice storms are just a few. Natural disasters happen each and every year, many predictions conclude stating the earth will suffer a series of natural disaster events beginning on December 21 and coming to a disastrous end on 23^rd, ultimately ending all human life on Earth. It happened to the dinosaurs, it could happen again right?

Solar Flares – Our sun spurts solar flares each and every day, they just aren’t large enough to reach Earth. According to NASA, a solar flare is equivalent to 100 million hydrogen bombs exploding simultaneously.  If a solar flare was strong enough to reach Earth, the first sign you would know all life would come to an end would be all of our communication systems would fail. All satellites would be destroyed and bring all communications like cell phones, dish television and GPS to an end. Shortly after, it would get VERY hot and our ozone layer would kill all things that require oxygen from the inside out.

Earth Axis Pole Shift – Unlikely but a little scary. Could you imagine Australia on top of the world with equator temperatures? How about Texas being the middle of the new North Pole? Could you adjust to -10 degrees every day? On the flip side, a swamp ass 115-130 degrees year round? Two drastic opposites that I would not be particularly happy with.

NASA Public Panic Meteor Shower Coverup - Many believe that a meteor shower is coming, more than a meteor shower –a massive flying object that is screaming at more than 700mph and Earth is in its path. So how could this happen? Did another world explode and this giant meteor is just a chunk flying through space giving Earth an uncertain destiny from this unknown projectile? Did Planet X get taken over and destroyed, the debris purposely cast towards the Milky Way in hopes of collision with a giant star - our sun? You would think you would have heard about this already, nope. NASA is covering it all up to avoid public panic. They know there is nothing you we or they can do to stop it, forget drilling a hole Bruce Willis.

Alien Invasion - Did you know that NASA has found DNA in meteorites? Space DNA. Is it possible that we are next on the targeted list of a group of rogue alien beings jumping from planet to planet consuming all resources and will end life as we know it? Do you think crop circles are just a hoax? They had to start somewhere to begin to be copycatted.

The Web Bot – The ‘Web Bot’ is a batch of automatic web bots that scan for specific keywords and terms mentioned throughout the www. These bots scan for keyword terms and also search for specific patterns, their findings returned and predicted the September 11th attacks and the Japan tsunami in 2004 – guess what, they have now predicted Armageddon on December 21, 2012.

Zombie Apocalypse – Its true, the Center for DiseaseControl (CDC) posted a Zombie Apocalypse warning last year in hopes to prepare residents for real emergencies.

Too bad I don’t live in London, I would gladly spend $150 bucks (115eu) to shoot some zombies.
